Just a quick update.

I saw the doctor at the Internal Medicine clinic on the 10th. He looked me over, and decided that I needed to have an endoscopy.

This, of course, means that I get to have a tube shoved down my throat. Yay.

Anyway, he also decided that, since I was in a lot of pain, I should not work for the rest of the month. Yay again.

I don't mind sitting at home doing stuff, it's just the "not getting paid" part that is not fun. Also, I do get a bit restless. Oh, and
not being able to drive much of the time because the codeine is making me woozy is not fun, either. (Yes, he put me on codeine.)

So that's where things are at. I get the endoscopy this coming Tuesday. Wow, that's gonna be loads of fun.

Guh. Codeine is fun, but please don't drive if you feel even slightly dopey - don't want you smearing yourself across the Interstate (see what I did there? American cultural references and everything!).

Hope the endoscopy goes as well as can be expected and they suss out what's wrong.
