It's worrying, what starts in the US often ends up in the UK too. For instance, Tony Blair was spouting about his being judged by God the other day. Time was in the UK for a leader to admit to being religious or mention such things, (or let slip religious rhetoric of any kind,) would have been unheard of, secular only please, we're British.. Thank God* there was much hoo-ha and spluttering of shock and outrage in the UK media after his outburst.
Arg! Sorry, what with time difference I'd gone to bed when you made that last comment, so I didn't spot it til much later. I'm afraid I don't do IM or anything similar, or have such software installed on my pc; basically because I'm terrified of getting addicted to it and ending up getting a bollocking at work for using it too much, or not cracking on with my art projects when I'm at home. I spend far too much time on LJ as it is, I can't risk getting sucked into IM. :-)
