From an AIM conversation
Nov. 17th, 2005 06:58 pmI was talking to my friend, Dubbug, about what cadavers are. Dubbug, you see, is Chinese, and not a native English speaker. She does quite well, but sometimes asks about some words.
Dubbug is someone I met on a MUD, Aber-Phoenix, where she plays a character named...well, Dubbug. A small, fat caterpillar with @ signs for eyes, and little, badly-drawn wings, who loves bananas and leaves and fears the TickleMonster, Dubbug has a well-deserved reputation for being adorably cute and hilariously funny. Although she denies it.
So, she asked me what cadavers were, and I told her about people donating their bodies to science...then this bit:
dubbug: I dun wanna be cut up into little pieces
Flewellyn: Then don't donate your body to science.
dubbug: oh
dubbug: oki!
dubbug: tho I HAVE considered donating my antennae
dubbug: possibly a leg or two...
dubbug: y'know, bits and pieces
dubbug: but not the WHOLE bug...
She insists that she doesn't understand why I found this so funny.
