Abortion?:	Definitely needs to be legal.
Death Penalty?:	It is wrong to take a life unless there is no choice. Once a criminal is imprisoned, we have a choice.
Prostitution?:	Not good, because of the exploitation. But, since it'll always exist, we need to regulate it rather than ban it. Ban something and it just becomes more dangerous.
Alcohol?:	Don't drink it myself. I despise alcoholism, but I've no moral problem with people drinking.
Marijuana?:	Same as for alcohol, but I should repeat that banning something people want to do just makes it more dangerous.
Other drugs?:	See entry for "marijuana".
Gay marriage?:	Religiously, I'm for it. (Reform Jewish.) Politically, I'm for it. Morally, I'm for it. I can see no viable argument against it, in fact.
Illegal immigrants?:	They're illegal because it's convenient to our corporations to have cheap, in-country slave labor that can't complain. There's no good reason for keeping people out.
Smoking?:	Do it downwind, please, I'm allergic.
Drunk driving?:	One conviction should cost a person their license permanently. Far too dangerous to allow any recidivism.
Cloning?:	Just another form of reproduction, really. Clones would be more genetically different than identical twins, anyway. (Cloning for parts would be wrong.)
Racism?:	Not only wrong, but stupid as well. We've only got one human race, since we can all breed with each other. When aliens show up, racism will still be wrong, though.
Premarital sex?:	Sure, I'll take some! Er, I mean...
Religion?:	Well, I am religious, though a religious liberal. I'm Jewish.
The war in Iraq?:	Getting rid of Saddam was and is a good thing, but there are ways, people. And Bush chose absolutely the worst way possible without using nukes.
Bush?:	He has a positive genius for being wrong: given five acceptable solutions to choose from, he'll go for number six, hurting everyone except for his rich buddies in the process.
Downloading music?:	It's not legal, but it's not "theft" or "piracy", and it's certainly not worth an attack on the rights of the public.
The legal drinking age?:	All legal rights and responsibilities of majority should be conferred at the same age, and this includes drinking.
Porn?:	As long as all parties consent (and are of the age of consent), no problem with it. Most porn isn't very good, though.
Suicide?:	It's not morally wrong, it's just sad.

I think you confuse race and species. Race is not well-defined, but certainly has nothing to do with inter-fertility.

So, okay--the reason I avoid political/social/economic etc. conversations is because in regular conversation, things like this meme don't exist--that is, if I could simply ask someone their stance on certain issues, and I could tell them mine, and that was the end of it, then I would enter into conversations like that. The reality of the situation, however, is that it is impossible to get into a conversation about these topics without one party trying to justify his or her convictions, or convince the other party of the wrongness of *their* convictions.

Anyway. Ramble ramble.

The point is, this is a really nifty meme, and I'm glad you filled it out. I'm very pleased to discover that you and I have pretty much the *exact* same opinion on everything listed here. It pleases me even MORE that you feel the same about drunk driving as I do, becaause *far* too many people don't seem to care about it as much as they should.

So, hooray for like-minded people! ;-D

I'm sure we don't agree on EVERYTHING. For one, I believe that people should be allowed to own any guns they want, but required to take courses in how to handle them, and to have trigger locks and such. So, no banning guns, but definitely keep kids away from them.

But otherwise, I'm pretty liberal. :-)
