More on Marriage Protection Week

I discussed our illustrious new "holiday" with some friends at work overnight. (Yes, night shift.) One of them, Tina, said what I think is the most perfect response to this travesty:

"What do they mean by 'Marriage Protection'? Protection of, or protection from? I think it's fair to protect our friends from getting married, since it's the week for it."

Now we're going to go to all of our friends and warn them about the perils of tying the knot, of which there are many, and hernias caused by trying to lift an issue of Bride magazine is just the tip of that iceberg.

Well, as long as you stay married to David, I don't see that being an issue anyway. :)

Does this mean you're not going to renew your vows EVERY Christmas, like you usually do??
