Color me unsurprised

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, we all heard the many stories of how the survivors in New Orleans had apparently gone "Lord of the Flies" on us, turning into unchecked savages who were killing and raping each other wildly. Reports came in of hundreds of dead bodies in the Superdome and the Convention Center, and this naturally led many idiots in the blogosphere to start talking about how "this just PROVES that you can't trust these kinds of people blah blah blah".

Well, guess what? It turns out that those reports were mostly bullshit. In other words, the poorest of New Orleans, largely abandoned by their government, for the most part remained civilized.

One of which the logic is obviously flawed but the idiotic masses still buy?
