OW

Tuesday evening, I slipped and fell backwards on the ice. BONK. I even hit my head a little. Fortunately, I absorbed the impact with my brain, so there was no damage, but it could have been bad.

My head is fine, but I have wrenched muscles in the neck, abdomen, and legs. So is hurty.

So, if you're wondering why I haven't been around much...mostly, not able to move much.

The good news? Cats make good heating pads.

Oooo, sorry about the ouchie! Hope it's better by now. You're right about cats, of course, as long as they avoid the kitty-biscuit thing...

Buy some Epsom salt at the grocery store and pour some into a nice warm bath and soak in it for a while to help the sore muscles a bit. I'm sorry to hear you're hurting.

Sorry to hear that Avi-ster.
I'd definately agree on soaking in a hot tub to ease the sore muscles. Though I don't recommend the cats accompany you on that venture. Anyway, hope you feel less achy tomorrow.

Oooh ow! :-( The hot bath sounds like an excellent idea, better even than cats since it won't get up and leave unexpectedly.

I hope you feel better soon!

Put the cat down and back away from the sofa!

Yikes! Hope you feel better.

Cats are the best heating pads ever, especially fluffy squishy ones!

I do, in fact, feel better now. The kitties were a big help. Especially Miette, who is very fluffy and squishy, as well as obese. Yitzak also helped by kneading his paws on my back, and Bella by being adorable and snuggly.

Oh fluffy squishy and obese is the absolute best! Nothing cuter than a soft pudgy kitty belly. My Sam (http://photobucket.com/albums/y5/coffeegrace/animals/?action=view&current=Sam1.jpg), while not very fluffy, is quite obese. I think he weighs about 15 pounds. Funkel (http://photobucket.com/albums/y5/coffeegrace/animals/?action=view&current=adorable.jpg), who is not quite so fat, is my fluffy one. And Miss Delilah (http://photobucket.com/albums/y5/coffeegrace/animals/?action=view&current=sleepy.jpg) weighs about 6 o 7 pounds! She's itty bitty and has a habit of sleeping on my head, giving me neck cramps. But they are all my little bed warmers.

LOL Anyway, I'm glad you are feeling better. Don't be slipping on anymore ice! :-)

Awww....your Delilah looks just like my Bella!

Really? Same coloring too? :-D
